Wheeler-dealer Kate has organised the acquisition of a decent second-hand sofa and pair of armchairs. They will be significantly better than the current cheapo sofas that are falling apart under us. I’ve not had leather seating before (other than in the car, of course). The colour wouldn’t have been my first choice, but Kate assures me that they are very comfortable.

I asked Beth last week if she was making friends at her new school; she told me that she was trying to make friends with the boys in the year above her. Go Beth! She also terrorised one poor chap in her class by kissing him.
