tobyaw | Second wave

Google Wave has been on the go for a year now. After the initial excitement of its launch, the desire for an invitation, then wondering what to use it for, it has gently matured and improved over the year. I still use it for shared-document editing (shopping lists, menu planning, event planning), but haven’t used it much for communication.

Changes to Wave this week include opening it to the public (an invitation is no longer needed), and integration with Google Apps (so Wave can be hosted on one’s own domain). Now, should you wish to do so, you could “wave” me at toby@filmgold.com
