Playing with Google Plus. Seems pretty decent. The circles are good. Pity about the lack of threaded comments.

It looks to me like its privacy model is very similar to LiveJournal. One's profile is public, and the circles correspond to friends groups, which one can use for posting or for reading.

What privacy failings do you see?

Anything you post on G+ becomes the Intellectual Property of G+.

No it doesn't! When you post something on G+, you grant Google a licence to store and use that content in order to provide the G+ service.

Without licence terms like that, they couldn't store your content in their data centres, and display it on your friends' pages.

Very similar to terms used by other internet companies.
