I drink coffee generally when I go to coffee shops, and dislike Starbucks hugely. I used to tolerate it when I could go to Borders bookshop in Dundee, which I really liked, but since they've shut I don't think I've set foot in a Starbucks.

I much prefer Costa, which is an oft-derided coffee chain, and also dubious on tax grounds. But it makes one of the closest cappuccinos to proper as-in-Italy ones I've found since going to Italy a couple of times. Way better for example than Italian restaurants. And they don't routinely sprinkle chocolate on the top - aarrgghh!
