Sunday catchup

End of another week. My three days in London last week went rather well, including a splendid meal with Rowan and Gareth at a veggie Indian restaurant on Drummond Street. The traveling was straightforward, and reinforced my belief that train, rather than plane, is the way to get about the country.

Getting home I felt wiped out, however, and have felt tired for the last few days. Hopefully normality will return soon.

Had a good walk around town yesterday. Lovely weather to be out in St Andrews.

This afternoon I bought a copy of The Sunday Post to read while Kate is watching this evening’s ice dancing. Worth it for the comic strips alone.

When I am (rarely) awake on a Sunday in the daytime and we make it out to nearby Sainsburys I always read Oor Wullie in the Sunday Post in the cafe. I was never that keen on the Broons, but got hooked on Oor Wullie as a child. Used to get the annuals all the time as well. I remember a childhood visit to the Unicorn (while on holiday in St Andrews) and the highlight for me being getting an Oor Wullie book!
