AQuA Mashup

In London, attending the Automating Quality Assurance (AQuA) mashup at the British Library. Hopefully will gain some good ideas to apply in our newspaper project.

No time for socialising on this trip! Dinners out with the workshop tonight and tomorrow, and then train back home on Wednesday evening.

Kate is off sailing for a week, so my parents are looking after Beth in our absence.

When's the newspaper project forecast to be finished and available to the public? I'm asking as a genealogist + academic historian, who could gladly use it on both grounds!

Finished? Well, it is quite open-ended — there are a lot of newspapers! — but the initial commercial site will launch in the autumn.

Thanks! Yes I realised after asking that "finished" was probably a bit optimistic :) But good to know there will be something usable quite soon.
