Films watched in 2012

Eighty-nine films watched in 2012. Mostly from Netflix, iTunes, and recorded from television. Very few DVDs or BDs, and no trips to the cinema.

I am losing interest in spinning discs, and have lost all enthusiasm for going to cinemas. Dirty places, full of strangers and adverts and expensive cheap food.

Stand-out enjoyment came from finding “classics” on Netflix that I hadn’t seen in years (like “Elvira, Mistress of the Dark”), seeing “West Side Story” for the first time (why had I never seen that wonderful film before?), and watching Bond films with an enthusiastic Beth.

Hmm, yes, watched on consecutive nights. (I note every film that I watch from beginning to end, including rewatching the same film.)
