Italian food to accompany the Grand Prix today. I left some dough rising in the Kenwood while we went for a swim at the Fairmont this morning, then Mary and Andrew joined us to watch the race and eat pizza.

After Beth’s bike ride this afternoon, we caught a few more episodes of Scooby-Doo — we’re currently working our way through the 1976 series now known as The Scooby-Doo Show. Beth is particularly enjoying them, but we all like a bit of Scooby-Doo.

Having examined the TV schedule for this evening, we turned to a DVD, and watched Clue, which is a joyously wonderful film, and bears regular rewatching. I find the film very rich, from its historical political setting and the actors’ performances, to its crude jokes and slapstick. And Tim Curry is a delight as Wadsworth, the butler.
