Deafening

A room filled with ten six-year-old girls, and one six-year-old boy, makes a hell of a noise. Especially when they’re all shouting at once.

Beth had a great birthday. She loved opening her presents this morning, had pancakes for breakfast, had a loud and successful party at lunchtime, played with her new toys this afternoon, and had a Chinese takeaway for tea.

Now she’s asleep, settled after a big day, and ready for her week of holiday in Kent with Kate.
