Nearly time to light the fires

It’s been rather chilly for the past week. Today wasn’t so bad, but summer is definitely over. Every year we try to put off turning on the central heating until October. I think we’ll make it this year. Looking forward to having a warm house on Friday!

We were hoping to last till Oct but cracked last Saturday. My Mum is 83 this year and really feels the cold these days.
