Leuchars in the sunshine

Sitting in the sun, waiting for my train to London. It’s normally so cold and windy on the Leuchars station platform — quite a change today.


Had a good lunch at Andrew’s today. Pity I had to rush off on my travels, but Kate is heading back there for scones after she dropped me off.

Beth is out for a walk with her friend Amy and family. We saw them as we drove into Guardsbridge. Odd seeing Beth out in someone else’s care!

Sitting in the sun, waiting for my train to London. It’s normally so cold and windy on the Leuchars station platform — quite a change today.

World service

It is not often that we are up early enough to listen to the World Service before it turns into the Home Service, but we will be catching an early train from Leuchars this morning, going down to Totnes. We have a night at a hotel in Torquay tonight, then a week in Salcombe.

My favourite holiday place.
