Another Saturday BBQ lunch

Barely a week has passed since our last BBQ, and I am yearning for more outdoor cooking. The threat of rain has receded, and this may be the warmest weekend so far this year. We'll be BBQing on Saturday (22 May), from 1 pm, at 29 Brewster Place, St Andrews. Even if it rains, we'll be broiling burgers under brollies. We'll provide some soft drinks, salads, bread, cheese, and veggie burgers and sausages. If you want something more exciting to drink, or you like a bit of meat, bring it with you.

Let me know if you're coming, so we know to expect you.

Dinner at Andrew’s

Andrew occasionally works from home, and when he does we sometimes dine with him, as opposed to the usual weekday practice of him joining us for dinner. Tonight was such an occasion. With the warm weather, his windows wide open, and 80s metal blasting from the stereo, he commented that it felt like a proper summer evening.

A few weeks ago Andrew and I tried to take Beth to the playpark at the Allanhill strawberry farm, just up Grange Road. Unfortunately it wasn’t open. But now the season has begun, and Kate and Beth went and had a play after school, and bought strawbs for pud. Mmm.
